Excellant cooking facilities in the room.
This hotel is very quaint, nestled in a wonderful part of the city of Seattle. The door is locked with an old fashioned key, and there is no safe in the room. The room is equipped with a stove, microwave, mini fridge, glassware, silverware, plates/bowls, and a few pans to cook in. There is a window air conditioning unit, that we only needed to use once. I had never traveled to Seattle before, and did not investigate the area at all before booking this trip. I would stay at this hotel again in an instant as the location and price were perfect for me. You can walk to so many amazing restaurants as well as places to visit, and there is even a Metropolitan Market minutes away to buy groceries or toiletries. I absolutely loved my stay in this city.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful printing directions, bus routes and suggesting restaurants and places. It is located right next to the Seattle Center, but not in the crowded and noisy Downtown. Also one of the best views of Seattle (Kerry Park is located nearby.
My room wasn't noisy, but if someone in the next room flushes the toilette you will hear it (and not like distantly). Towels are small.
There was a lot of space in the room which made it comfortable for a longer stay. Having a kitchenette was perfect for our trip since we didn't want to eat out for every meal.
The only thing that was sort of unfortunate was the height of the shower head. My husband is very tall and the shower head was so low he had to bend over really far to use it.

Great visit. Wish they would have told me about the $30 automatic charge per day for incidentals. I was on a budget and it through me off
The hotel is obviously of some age and the room could benefit with a major make over. However it was clean and tidy with a 'quaint' feel about it. Definitely value for money. A slight hassle having to drag heavy luggage up the rather steep stairs to the top floor as the is no lift. the essence is we would consider staying there again for short stays at that value. Close to monorail into CBD or a 20 minute walk
Our room was on the corner of the intersection and as a result suffered from street noise. Steep stair well.
It was convenient walking distance for attending an event at Key Arena in Seattle Center.
No parking available at the hotel for overnight and two day event.
The gardens make a nice entrance. Room was very spacious and would make a good location for an extended stay. Access to a laundary was good.
Dragging luggage up stairs.
Nice location to access Seattle down town.
The staff were very helpful. The room was good and having a kitchen was very good. Close to all transport, and lovely restaurants very close to motel. Monorail was close to get to the city, and walking distance to the harbour and pike street markets. Would recommend it.
the kitchen facilities allowed me to maintaine a good budget while staying on my nutrition diet. The location is fantastic across from the space needle a few block from the water and close to post office, market, pharmacy and many restaurents and cocktail lounges.
Climbing stairs to get to my room, no elevators and I have serious back injuries.
Location! Easy access to important sites and means of transportation. The rooms have a kitchen!!
The internet signal on the third floor is very weak and it stopped many times. My room faced towards the courtyard and it was very noisy because of people hanging put there and talking. The hotel needs to do something about the bad smell of the room. Is it the carpet? It looks very old and it probably smells bad and needs to be replaced. No parking.
Best location. Right near Seattle Center, transportation, restaurants and grocery store. Great clean budget place, with a kitchenette.
Our room location was directly in front of the entrance doors, so every time someone went in or out the door would slam and all the doors vibrate. Also, there were rowdy people that came in late, as well as outside.
I liked the price and location and coffee in the morning.
Carpet on the stairs could do with an upgrade.
Great location - Center, good restaurants, great store a short block away, close to bus line.
Street noise came in around the air conditioner - lasted late into the night, and started early in the morning.
